Dr. Thomas Pinkston – Optometrist

Dr. Pinkston is a native of Florida and attended the University of Florida for his undergraduate education. He received his Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

After graduation, he completed a residency in ocular disease and refractive surgery at Woolfson Eye Institute in Atlanta, Georgia, where he co-managed cataract, cornea and refractive surgery patients. Dr. Pinkston relocated to Western North Carolina in 2016. Dr. Pinkston believes the key to great eye care is a continued focus on communication with each individual patient.

When not in the office, Dr. Pinkston enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children. He is currently training to complete an Ironman Triathlon in 2021.
